Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur is a NAAC B++ accredited, multi-faculty affiliating university established under UGC Act in 1962. The erstwhile university was established in the tribal area of Southern Rajasthan with its Headquarters at Udaipur. This Agriculture University was transformed into a multi-faculty university in 1964 and named as "University of Udaipur". The University was renamed as Mohanlal Sukhadia University in 1984 as a mark of respect in memory of Late Shri Mohan Lal Sukhadia, the architect of Modern Rajasthan.
The University presently consists of 4 constituent colleges & about 190 affiliated colleges in the districts of Udaipur, Banswara, Chhitorgarh, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand & Sirohi.
The University is presently running 135 U.G., P.G., M.Phil., Ph.D., Diploma & certificate courses with over 1 lakh enrolled students.
The University is also celebrating the Golden Jubilee of its establishment this year. |

| University College of Commerce & Management Studies is the educational hub of MLSU for commerce & management education. The college is running various undergraduate, post-graduate, M.Phil. & Doctoral courses under its auspices. The college is having faculties with rich experience of teaching, knowledge & research. |

| The Library is the knowledge centre of any institution. A well-equipped library with an aesthetic environment creates an excellent learning environment. The college library has a wonderful collection of over 25000 books on various aspects of business & management. The library also subscribes to large number of national & international journals, magazines & periodicals in print, a no. of e-journals & newspapers. The library is also equipped with Xerox machine, Scanners, etc. The University Central Library also caters to the needs of students with over 125000 books and large no. of e-journals. The Central Library also has e-library facility, being connected to no. of libraries across the World & having access to their resources. |

| The institute provides state-of-art amphitheatrically designed classrooms fully equipped with all modern teaching gadgets like LCD & overhead projectors, etc. with sound acoustics. The institute also has a syndicate room for group discussions & interactive learning. The class room teaching pedagogy includes case study discussions, industry interactions, problem solving, brainstorming and presentations by students on contemporary issues; seminars & extension lectures by eminent academicians, management gurus and corporates. |

The department has an internet lease line connection for facilitating internet access to faculties & students and to keep them abreast with the latest developments in the World. Various other peripheral devices like laser printers, scanners, etc. are also available. Wi-Fi connectivity is under process. |
